Entrepreneurship has been in Dandy Don’s blood since his high school graduation. For two decades, he built a successful career in the Baltimore-area automotive industry, from owning an Exxon station to founding and growing Don’s Carney Service Center. In 1996, he sold the service center and moved his family to Ocean City, MD, to pursue his dream of owning a business by the beach. After careful consideration, Don and his wife, Kathy, decided to open a bicycle rental shop. While much has changed over the past two decades, one thing has remained constant—Dandy Don’s unwavering commitment to safety and creating the best possible family-friendly experience.
